About Stitched By MoMo

Welcome to Stitched By MoMo.   I'm Mo (or MoMo), and after spending too many years in a career that didn't give me that fuzzy feeling on Monday morning, I took the massive leap to quit my job and work on developing a career.  I studied the City and Guilds Fashion, Pattern Cutting and Creative Industries qualifications at Inkberrow Design Centre.  These qualifications built on the knowledge and skills I already knew and help me challenge myself to develop my skills beyond what I thought was possible.  It also gave me opportunities I never thought possible.  Since, I have been building my business, which has in itself been quite a journey with lots of ups and downs, but in hindsight (oh what a wonderful thing!) I have loved every part of it and I'm very proud of what I have achieved so far.
 
I'm passionate about all things sewing and Stitched By MoMo enables me to share my passion with others.  I love to be creative and love the process of design, from initial ideas, to the final creation. Sewing and the skills involved are important to me and I believe you never stop learning. I also believe that knowledge should be shared.  

I enjoy teaching beginner and even novice sewers.  The achievement my clients feel after just one lesson is just amazing.  

In addition, I'm also passionate about up cycling, using pre-loved fabrics and items of clothings to make something new and unique.
